Part 5: Family Plots,
Deceptions: Lonnie Jones, Renaldo Hemphill
The teaching of hate has had a
historic presence in families prejudiced toward other ethnic groups. Many of
these families are composed of White people who feel that they are superior to
most non-White people. Thus, many people in these families teach their children
to dislike and discriminate against non-White people. For the record White
people do not have an exclusive hold on racism and hatred, they are just in the
majority. We can also argue that there would not be any racial hatred by
non-White people if not for the racism of White people.
Meanwhile as many White families
teach hatred, there is a strange thing happening in many Black families. While
White folk are showing displeasure with the ancestors of Black ex-slaves, Black
people hate themselves and each other. This leads us to the following question.
What are the parallels between racism and Black self-hatred? Also, how is envy
and jealously involved in this equation? For the record Satan rejoices in the
medley of hatred, because Satan does not care who hates who, he just rejoices
in hatred and confusion.
Again the FreedomJournal attempts to
open a mystery of our past. Thus, again we see evidences of abnormal behavior
in the Black community. Of course we do not support the past enslavement of
Black people and the on-going Black Holocaust but the hatred that stems from
racism has some logic. What do you mean FreedomJournal? Well, racism in itself, is based on a narrow, tainted and false vision of
the world and its people. Nevertheless, the forces that propel and promote
racism originate in the economic and political arenas. Therefore we see the
development of racial prejudice, which is shallow in itself, having a firm
grounding in the historical development of Western economic and political
ideology.
Meanwhile, we see the self-hatred of the
Black family and the Black community defying most examples of logic. One could
argue that there is economic and political logic in the ruling regime and those
in power to manipulate the Black masses toward self-hate for control. This is a
sound argument and it has merit. Is the success of the scheme of self-deception
a miracle? Therefore, is Black self-hatred a leading example of the genius of
White people? Also, is Black self-hatred an example of creative racism?
Let it be written that Black people that
teach their families to hate each other are graduated fools. These ungodly
graduates hold the highest degree in Stupidity, the Sth.D.
How has this occurred? Just think about it? How can anyone from a group of
people that have had a history of enslavement, bigotry, racism and
discrimination allow themselves to be manipulated into self-hate and
self-destruction?
For example the Jews and Hebrew
people who have been despised and abused throughout history have not turned to
self-hatred. Is it because these people are mostly White and don't carry the
stigma of Blackness? Of course Black people are not the only non-White people
on earth. Nonetheless Black people are the only non-White people that teach
self-hatred among themselves. Therefore, discrimination and exploitation do not
automatically lead to self-hatred. Well, then has creative racism only appeared
among the people from the "Land of the Blacks?"
Meanwhile the case study of our
family (The Lewis-Fitcherd family is a case-study in Dis-Unity)
reveals many family members wallowing in a hole of envy, jealously and
self-hate. For the record wallow is not a new word. Hogs also wallow in their
own vomit, waste and slop. Lonnie Jones the brother of the infamous Leander
Jones (these are the two leaders of the” Jones Gang") is a great
pretender. Lonnie was one of the first family members to get a copy of the book
"Big Ralph: Reflections of a Black Police Chief."
I remember a comment made by Lonnie
during the Spring of 1997, “Carl, you should write
another book." The dust jacket cover on "Big Ralph" clearly
notes that we had completed at least four other books when "Big
Ralph" was published. I thought very little about the statement at that
time but now I believe it stems from the insanity of self-hate.
Before the 1999 reunion in Chicago
Lonnie through his staff of family elitists sent out information requesting
email addresses of all family members. This was not an unusual request because
Lonnie as the organizer of the reunion consistently sought to update the names
and addresses of family members.
We responded with our email address.
During the reunion we made verbal exchanges with various family members and
gathered several other email addresses. Leander had previously claimed he
didn't have an email address which was a lie. The email confusion started after
the reunion. Lonnie blocked us from his mailbox and thought AOL would not
notify us. He then lied and said they were downloading some information and
deleted our address. Meanwhile Lewis Jones, (Lonnie's son) asked to be removed
from our list. Also our little cousin Renaldo acted as if we did not exist.
Leander reappeared and started
sending us messages. Also Renaldo Hemphill emailed us and stated that he had
just found our address. Renaldo did not acknowledge that he had been on our
list since the reunion but we never heard anything from him. Why did the
"Jones Gang," act with hostility toward our family? How can a family
have a reunion without any love? What is the problem, for example why do they
want to have a family reunion and practice hatred?

"Our cousin Renaldo has been to
our surprise a great disappointment. We love much and expect much in return. We
heaped coals of praise upon him and he is now smothering the flames with winds
of discord and jealously? Misunderstanding? Hatred? Why? One that we held in such high esteem prefers to
disassociate himself from us. Why?
Renaldo had previously enjoyed the
camaraderie of his cousin Carl, but somewhere along the way something and
someone has caused him to act coldly toward his cousin. I for one thought that
Renaldo was genuine with his poetry recitations and speeches. Are they just
intellectual visions of grandeur without any meaning?"
One way to get a handle on plots and
deceptions is to identify inconsistent behavior. The email confusion revealed
that Lonnie, Leander, Lewis and Renaldo acted suspiciously. They first denied
us, and then they tried to embrace us. At the present they have all went back
under the rock from which they came. However, most tried to plot or do some
damage before going back into hiding. Leander sent various foolish messages
that were mostly jokes and sexually oriented garbage. Lewis popped up and
started sending frivolous messages and Renaldo after reporting that he had lost
our address asked for research assistance for a friend. He noted that it was
urgent and that he needed information on how to contact us. This was thirty days
ago and we have not heard anything from Renaldo nor his alleged friend.
What happened to Renaldo? His mother
never paid for the copy of Big Ralph that she received. Is she responsible for
teaching Renaldo self-hatred? Is there so much support for integrationist
philosophy and Uncle Toms that many Black people are angry that Psyche
Publishing has made a critique of the Civil Rights Movement? Are Black Traitors
in the vanguard of the fight to deny Black writers' Free Speech? What will you
teach your children? Will White families continue to teach hatred and will
Black families continue to teach self-hatred?
